At Your Door Pet Sitter was founded by Mary Vallavanti, an expert in the pet care industry. Mary has over 10 years of experience working with all types of pets, including exotics. She is passionate about the health and welfare of all animals. With that passion, she consistently strives to improve the daily lives of local pets and their owners.

Mary began her journey as a pet care provider working as a vet assistant. During that time, she learned the proper technique of holding and working with small animals of all types. Later on in her career, Mary learned how to draw blood, place catheters, perform dental work, and provide other medical services. No matter where Mary found herself working, she would always bring compassion, excellence, and reliability to the job.

Eventually, Mary realized that her passion for pets could be put to even better use. She recognized the need for people to be able to safely leave their pets at home, where they are most comfortable. With that need in mind, she founded At Your Door Pet Sitter. Mary now provides professional pet sitting and other pet care services to the Fairhope and the surrounding areas.  Whether your dog or cat needs transport to a vet appointment, or your fur babies need someone to check on them while you're at work, At Your Door Pet Sitter is here to help.
